More Haiku

Hey, here’s three more 5-7-5 syllable haikus I wrote:

Blaze orange balloons
descend to woods from blue sky,
now hunters are safe.

Bad boys beat back Bush
then bad boys beat bin Laden
and Bush takes credit.

Pretty funny, huh? Like “man bites dog” tick?

I’m going to John Governale’s poetry and writers workshop/get-to-gether affair this evening in Norway (that’s in Maine). It starts at 7pm. These three above, plus the two I wrote earlier, will be my contribution.
