Yup, this guy is unbelievable. I found a good 2002 article on the band, Gogol a Go-Go, in the Village Voice. The star’s name is Eugene Hütz, and he’s a 29-year-old Ukrainian expat. The article’s subtitle is “Eugene Hütz’s Gypsy Punk Cabaret Takes New York”.
Yup, walking, or jumping, down Congress street doing the start-wearing-purple might get the whole place jumping with people charging out of Bull Feeney’s pub before the paddy wagons come?
