Tisha’s blog has a good post, perhaps partly ironically entitled “What’s Your Drug of Choice?”, highlighting new “landmark” research on risky drugs. The headline of this study reads, “Alcohol, tobacco make top 10 list of risky drugs” with a sub-heading, “British study rated the substances more dangerous than marijuana, Ecstasy“. Cannabis doesn’t quite make the top ten, coming in at number eleven. So, what do we make of the fact that alcohol and tobacco are deemed riskier than marijuana aka cannabis?

We know what I think about it based on my post and subsequent comments. I will nevertheless say that it’s high time (no pun intended) that we put things in perspective and stop being so hypocritical about these legal drugs.
