I won’t spend much time on this other than to express my total disgust with the stupidity and hypocrisy of it. Gail Collins in her Op-Ed today, Jon & Kate Begin to Grate, sums it up perfectly. Here’s her closing paragraph:
There’s much to mull. But at minimum, when a listmaker of the future starts compiling the Ten Worst Multiple-Birth-Reality-Show-Meltdowns-of-the-Millennium, the Gosselins will have found a place in history.
How can people waste their time paying attention to this crap? No wonder the world’s going to hell in a handbasket.

I watch a lot of reality tv. I’m not proud to say that, but I do. It’s mindless, and it’s another way to people watch, though of course, it’s not true reality once the cameras roll. I haven’t watched this show, but it was brought to my attention as of late, too. Whatever. You don’t have to watch it, and there is no reason to get upset about it. At least they’ve made a good income from it for the kids.
Now this whole fertility treatment stuff.. people needing babies… I don’t know. Why couldn’t they adopt? So many kids and babies with no parents in the world.
