Turtles All The Way Down

I get a kick out of this expression, Turtles All The Way Down, hearing it so often these days. See, e.g., here. It’s the old, “If God created the universe, who created God?” argument. Pops up everywhere. Always has, I guess.

I have never heard that expression before today.

Actually, it isn’t used all that often, I guess. It just refers to the ancient belief that the world rests on the back of a giant turtle, and then there’s the problem of what that giant turtle rests on. Well, on another turtle! And so on on down.
