Word Cloud Fun

Kate over at SleepyLaKate has found a program for making word clouds of an arbitrary bit of text. She’s done it here. I couldn’t resist trying it too, so, here’s the word cloud of this blog:

As expected, the biggest word is SNOW!

    Geez Dad, if you had done 6 months ago, I’m sure the biggest word would have been “McCain.”

    I like how you’ve got “GO” big, too.

    Yah, I was thinking that: McCain would have been prominent back then. It looks like “bad” is kinda there too now in addition to “go”. hah ha?

    Met your daughter Clarissa at Symposium in Salem Saturday. Enjoyed your blog. RE: Word Cloud, may I invite you to look at one of the most interesting pieces of software related to words that I’ve encountered: http://www.visualthesaurus.com. I would cautiously use Steve Job’s phrase, “insanely great” to describe it. At least its entertaining.
