Ron Paul talks sense on Iran. As Juan Cole points out, Paul argues that speculation about a US or Israeli strike on Iran is driving some of the increase in oil prices. Also, it appears that the OPEC president agrees.

Not only is such speculation causing a rise in oil prices, but as he further rightly points out, the need for a US or Israeli strike on Iran does not exist! Iran is not at all on the verge of making nuclear weapons. Listen to what he says. The truth of it has been well established for some time. We are being led over a cliff by raving neocon lunatics in the both US and Israel! And if not lunatics, brain washed timid people. I is pissed!

Iran has much to fear from the nuclear-armed US satellite-state in their neighborhood, especially considering the tactics that puppet-state has used against its other neighbors.

Yes, I’ll agree with you here. Iran has much to fear from the nuclear-armed US satellite-state in their neighborhood. You must of course be referring to Israel, although an argument could be made that we’re almost their satellite state! Iran also has much to fear from us, considering Cheney’s still around. And I agree: even if they had nuclear weapons we certainly would have no right to “nuke” them, in fact it would be totally insane and suicidal on our part.

Yes, I’m referring to Israel. Any objective analysis will reveal that they are a US satellite. They are our eyes and ears in the middle east, and are paid well for it, and do exactly as we say.
