I find I’m hooked. Hooked on the Web. It’s just so easy to keep clicking and clacking, going here and there, looking at this, reading that. Lots of good stuff online. And blogging takes up much of this time, if one wants to do it right, and, yes, have fun in doing it. But in this surfing and blogging I’ve found books to read and gone ahead and ordered them. But when can I read them? Not while I’m online, not while I’m blogging and surfing and clicking and clacking. ๐
So, I’ve got to take a break. Try to rejoin the real world for a while, read my books, do non-online things.
So, thanks fellow bloggers for looking at this blog and for your many great comments. I’ll be back later, after I’ve detoxed a bit. ๐

OG! I know the feeling, trust me. I sometimes go on line to do something important, like find information, then the next thing I know, I’m reading some rock star’s blog and looking at photos of places I’ll never go, or listening to amazing music… It is addicting and distracting from “real life!”
So, yes, go read your books.. But, don’t stay away too long! You’re blog ROCKS with humor and insight. So, we will miss you, right gang?

Hi Marde,
Just relieved to know that you are OK. Say hi to Sylvia for me.

I know exactly how you feel. I blog and surf so often and so long now that being offline sometimes feels a bit strange and unnatural — which is a bit of a worry.
I think that doing so much on the net speeds up your mind a lot. So then when you go back into the real world, where everything is a lot slower, it’s hard to adjust.
