I try not to be superficial with politics and political figures but this picture is one of those I let loose.
This is my favorite for so many reasons:
“Put your head on my shoulder”
Take me in your arms, baby.
I also can’t help but to notice the shortness of McCain’s arms.
Did you see the one with McCain and Guilanni hugging? The angle was different but I bet it was strikely similar.
One thing is for sure about McCain he looooves hugs!
A big old hug to you, Marde.

How are you my friend ?
Boy,isn’t that a sight for sore eyes 😆
I have to show that to my hubby…
You remember, Mard, that I do genealogy research? I did my cousin’s line 2 years ago, and I found out that they are very distant cousins with the Bush family ! Through a common ancestor that you probably know in New England ; Johnathan Fairbanks ( the Fairbanks house in Dedham,Mass). The house that this dude built is still standing and the oldest wooden structure in North America.
See you again next time 😉

This pic is too funny! I thought most of the Republicans were trying to seperate themselves from Bush. McCain here looks like a lost little kid who just found his dad!

Thanks, Danielle, I hadn’t noticed the shortness of the Maverick’s arms. Interesting. I haven’t seen the Giuliani hug by the Maverick Man. I guess fellow warmongers need to hug each other — others may not be so willing. And thanks for your big old hug!
I’m fine, Barbara. I hope you are fine too. Yes, your hubby ought to get a kick out of that photo of the two warmonger lovers in embrace. Interesting that you may be a distant distant cousin of the Shrub, George W Bush. Never know whom one might be related to! 😉

Hi, “new zealand map”. I just recovered your comment from my spam list. Good remark about McCain finding his Dad.
I see you’re a New Zealand travel site. Actually, I wouldn’t mind sometime visiting your beautiful country, but I can’t figure when at this point.

Drop everything and just come, we would love to have you!

Would that I could…… Drop everything and visit New Zealand for a month or so during your summer, our winter! Well, I do a lot of dreaming. This adds to it and is at least fun! Good luck to you down there. One day I may go, unless of course I go somewhere else first: Goin’ Home. Goin’ Home. I’m jes goin’ home…

I should also follow my own advice. I found out today why John McCain has short arms and stinky egg is all over my face.
Mardé on February 7, 2008 at 10:05 pm
OHMAGOD! I started reading that, and couldn’t go on. It’s amazing what sorts of things people can survive. It’s a wonder he has arms at all, isn’t it. Well, don’t worry, Danielle, how were you to know. If egg is over your face, it’s over mine too. But that doesn’t mean I’ll vote for him, of course. But if I’d been through all that, and survived, I’d be against torture, as he is, and might want to win a war. But this war is not that war. And this war is unnecessary and counter-productive.
Much love likewise.
