    But what is he saying?

I wrote of this press conference. I loved Ms. Thomas’ comment and question and enjoyed seeing Bush squirm.

Yes, I did read your post on that press conference. Helen Thomas’ comment to him was what should be typical of the media but which isn’t at all. Our media is in a sorry state, pretty wimpy.

    Thanks, Danielle.

    Hi Sev,
    Thank you for dropping by.
You are always opeining up my eyes ( with Danielle), to a bunch of things that go on in Washington.
You would think that I live on a ” desert island”, but no; it’s like that when you are an expat. You don’t hear everything.
Or else, I would have to watch CNN all the time ( I have it on the cable ).
I have to bring my sister over here; she is really into politics.

Have a nice day, Seev and it’s my pleasure to see you.

Thank you, too, Barbara, for dropping by. I can understand how your perspective as an expat must be quite different from what we experience here. The news media is in our face much of the time and yet is fairly timid with its criticisms of the powers that be. So, it gets frustrating for many of us — I’d say close to 70% of us now. You’re doing interesting things over there in France and it’s refreshing to hear of them on your blog. Your sister sounds like she could really fill you in on politics when she gets a chance to visit.

You have a nice day too — but it must be time to turn in over there now — and thanks again very much for dropping by old SeevsPlace. :-)
