Check the two page editorial in the New York Times (NYT) this morning which says “Leave Iraq Now!”. The actual title is “The Road Home” and the editors face the reality of the situation: it’ll be bloody to leave but it’ll be just as bloody to stay. It’s up to the Congress, but ultimately up to us by forcing Congress, to get the unbending Bush/Cheney, or Cheney/Bush, to bend. It’ll be tough; they’re determined to pass this war onto the next administration.
