Tuesday Morning

Don’t worry, I’m not going to do this every morning! Besides, it’s already after noon time. But I just wanted to say that the wind and rain yesterday have been trying their best to dissolve our road, which is dirt, from the paved part onward, and even parts of the paved part. Today it’s still raining and windy but not at such a ferocious level as yesterday. It’s possible to drive out of here if one goes slowly — but not too slowly — over the ruts and bumps, while avoiding the edges of the road which can be treacherous.

If this keeps up will I have to change this blog to a weather-blog? Or will it just evolve into one on its own accord? Well hopefully, this gigantic nor’easter will have spent its fury in another day or so, and we can get back to reporting on and discussing normal things, e.g. politics, philosophy, religion, books, states of mind, and rants on all sorts of things from the Great State of Maine!

    Hi Mardé,
When are you guys are going to get some sunshine?!
You must be eager for Spring to begin.

If you would have been in France last week ( and this week so far,) it has been nice weather. It really feels like Spring.
I wish I could send some of this over
    Take care,

Yes, Barbara, we sure could use some of that great French weather over here. I do wish you could send some along!

Well, maybe by this weekend things will have improved. But right now it’s still raining, although not so hard. The roads are in terrible shape, especially our dirt road. I should start a new post entitled, “The Great April Washout of 2007!”.

Thanks for your message. Good to hear from you.
