Yup, I slapped the snow shoes on this afternoon and took a circuit of the land this side of the road. We got about 3 or 4 inches of the light fluffy stuff last night, so on top of what we already have that might be almost 8 inches in all. And I think I saw a *pine track! That was down on the lower path that runs parallel to New Road. It was coming out of some lower brush and made a beeline for a large hemlock tree. I looked up into the tree but couldn’t spot a *pine. (After all, it’s a hemlock, not a pine…. :-))
* pine == porcupine
